*She wipes herself off with the towel, before putting it on her shoulders like a cloak* Kylie: Listen, I didn't mean to bother you- Shadow: You didn't bother me.sure you woke me up, but I'll give you a pass. *Shadow comes back with a towel, and hands it to the soaked brunette* Kylie: Thank you. Wait here.! *Shadow walks away* Kylie: Sorry, I was in a hurry, and I forgot it. *He then looks outside, and his expression changes from confused to concerned when he sees the weather* Shadow: And it's pouring outside! Are you insane!? *Kylie chuckles a little* *Shadow groans before gently grabbing the girl's hand* Shadow: Get inside, you'll catch hypothermia out here! *Shadow leads Kylie into the house, Kylie closes the door behind her* Shadow: Running out in the middle of a rainstorm, with no rain coat.
Shadow: Wh-What're you doing here.? It's three in the morning. Shadow* Kylie: *groans* *That night, at Shadow's house* *We see a werehog Shadow sleeping in his bed* *Everything seems to be peaceful and quiet, when suddenly, there was a knock at the door* *Shadow's right ear twitches* *The knocking continues, it doesn't seem like it's gonna stop anytime soon* *Shadow groans before opening his eyes* *The sleepy werehog sits up, and gets out of his bed* *Shadow makes his way to the front door, as the knocking continues* Shadow: Alright alright, I'm coming! *Shadow growls in frustration before grabbing the doorknob, and opening the front door* Shadow: What is i- *Shadow's immediately stops his rant when he sees a somber looking Kylie, standing outside in the rain* Shadow: Kylie.? Kylie: Hey Shadow.
*We then hear what sounds like cries of desperation, we then see Rouge in the air, holding Kylie in her arms as she desperately to break out of the bat's grasp* Kylie: Rouge get off me! Please let me go!! Rouge: K-Kylie stop, you can't do anything! Kylie: No.! Let go of me! Shadow! SHADOW!! OH NO!! *Kylie tries with all her might to break free, still hoping she could save her brother, but Rouge just kept tightening her grip on the distressed brunette* *She screams in pain and devastation* Kylie: Shadow! Shadow!! Oh gosh.!! *She chokes up, but manages to let out one last desperate plea* Kylie: SHADOW!!! *Everything suddenly fades to black* *We see Kylie's eyes shoot open, before instantly sitting up* Kylie: Shadow!! *She breathes heavily as she looks around to see that she's back in her bedroom* *She sighs in relief, realizing that it was just a nightmare* Kylie: It was just a dream., I'm not back in that event.! *She then turns to her nightstand, where we see a picture of Kylie with Sonic, Shadow, and Silver* *Kylie grabs the photo and gazes at it, or more specifically. *We are treated to a flashback scene, we see Shadow standing still, his body slowly being consumed by the metal virus* *He looks up at the sky, tears fall from his eyes, he manages to put a slight smile on his face* Shadow: Good luck, Kylie.
